Mentoring on ADPList

I turn complex problems
into simple, usable experiences.

I've spent over 11 years turning messy, difficult problems into products that feel simple and obvious. I work best in spaces where design, business logic, and human behaviour all intersect — and there's a real problem worth solving.

Where I come from, and where I'm headed

I started my design career over a decade ago, working across agencies and product companies in Bangladesh before eventually moving to Finland. The range of industries — from ride-hailing and food delivery at Pathao, to intranet software at Happeo, to transfer pricing and tax compliance at Aibidia — taught me that good design is less about the domain and more about how clearly you understand the problem.

What keeps me motivated is working on things that are genuinely hard. Complex enterprise workflows. Ambiguous problem spaces. Products where users can't afford confusion because the stakes are high. I've found that if you slow down, listen well, and build from evidence, even the most technical or regulated product can feel human.

Today I lead product design at Aibidia in Helsinki, where I design tools used by tax professionals at global companies. It's a space where finance, law, data, and UX all overlap — and I genuinely love that about it. Outside of my main role, I also mentor designers through ADPList and advise early-stage teams on design process and tooling.

UX/UI Designer

Worked across multiple companies and early-stage startups before moving into full-time product roles. At Bashundhara Group Ltd (Dhaka, 2017–18) I designed interfaces for digital products within a large conglomerate. At DeviserWeb (Sylhet, 2014–17) I designed user interfaces and improved user flows across web-based products. Alongside these, I consulted independently for startups including When.holiday, Evaly, and Kite Games Studio — across e-commerce, mobile, and digital products.

01

Evidence over intuition

Good instincts matter, but they need grounding. I start with research, validate early, and stay open to being wrong. Data and user insight shape every significant design decision I make.

02

Simplicity is the hardest part

Making complex things feel simple requires deep understanding, not shortcuts. I spend more time removing and refining than adding. If it still feels complicated, we haven't solved it yet.

03

Design is a team sport

The best outcomes come from designers, engineers, and product managers who trust each other. I invest in those relationships, communicate openly, and stay collaborative even when there's disagreement.

When I'm not designing, I'm usually outdoors. I love hiking in the mountains, exploring new cities on foot, and finding those quiet spots that aren't on any tourist map. Living in Finland has made me deeply appreciate nature — the forests, the seasons, the silence.

I've trekked across the Austrian Alps, stood at the edge of the Rhine Falls in Switzerland, hiked through the snowy forests of Lapland, and wandered through Hallstatt at golden hour. Travelling slowly — without itineraries — is how I recharge and find new perspective.
