Where I come from, and where I'm headed
I started my design career over a decade ago, working across agencies and product companies in Bangladesh before eventually moving to Finland. The range of industries — from ride-hailing and food delivery at Pathao, to intranet software at Happeo, to transfer pricing and tax compliance at Aibidia — taught me that good design is less about the domain and more about how clearly you understand the problem.
What keeps me motivated is working on things that are genuinely hard. Complex enterprise workflows. Ambiguous problem spaces. Products where users can't afford confusion because the stakes are high. I've found that if you slow down, listen well, and build from evidence, even the most technical or regulated product can feel human.
Today I lead product design at Aibidia in Helsinki, where I design tools used by tax professionals at global companies. It's a space where finance, law, data, and UX all overlap — and I genuinely love that about it. Outside of my main role, I also mentor designers through ADPList and advise early-stage teams on design process and tooling.
